Judy Lee Butrum, 53, St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at her home.
Judy was born on May 16, 1958 to Joy LeRoy and Edna Lucy (Ruth) Williamson in Kansas City, Missouri.
Judy graduated from Mead High School in Mead, Nebraska.
Judy married Clayton Butrum April 9, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend; her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Randy Williamson, infant sister, Melinda Williamson, brother-in-law, Bill Butrum, and mother-in-law Shirley Butrum.
Surviving family includes husband, Clayton Butrum, of the home; daughters, Heidi Ellis, of Shawnee, Kansas; Camilia (Kasey) Waterman, of St. Joseph; and Barbi Butrum, of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren, Kayden Waterman, Cooper Waterman, and Ava Farris; parents Joy LeRoy and Edna Williamson, of St. Joseph; brothers, James (Fredia) Williamson, of Kansas City, Kansas; and Joy (Linda) Williamson, of Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters, Lucy (Dean) Skates, Hiawatha, Kansas; and Sandy (Ray) Hamilton, Salem, Oregon; sister-in-laws, Sharon Leaverton, Prue, Oklahoma; and Dana Butrum, of St. Joseph; brothers-in-law, Darren and Terry Butrum, King City, Missouri; thirteen nieces and nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews.
Service 10:00 AM Friday, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel
Interment Bellemont Cemetery. Wathena, Kansas
Visitation will begin after 12:00 pm Thursday, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at our chapel.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
