Elizabeth “Betty” Conroy, 93, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Arbor View Health Care.
Betty was born January 22, 1917 to Carl W. and Louisa C. (Mueller) Timm in Merrill, Wisconsin. She worked as a cook at St. Francis Xavier School, Snow White and Cocos.
Betty was married to Thomas Conroy and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; four sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include daughters, Sharon (Bruce) Glantz, Lincoln, Nebraska, Patricia (Gary) Stroud, Cecelia Chick, Katherine Conroy, all of St. Joseph; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Ted Conroy; and sister-in-law, Ellen Conroy
Services 10am, Saturday Horigan Chapel. Sister Barbara Conroy officiating. Visitation will begin after 1:00 pm, Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Friday evening. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Hand of Hope Hospice.
