Geraldine “Jerre” Eisenmann, 66, St. Joseph, MO, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Jerre was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, on April 10, 1943. She was a member of Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church, PBX Tele-Communicators and the Red Hat Society. Jerre was also an avid Elvis fan. She worked at Farmland Industries for twenty-four years and then as a PBX operator for fifteen years at St. Joseph News-Press.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine (Cozad) Eisenmann and one sister, Lois Lease.
Survivors include two nephews, Ernest Nelson, St. Joseph, MO and John Nelson, Independence, MO; great-nieces, Nikki, Joe, Tanya, Christina and Jonell, twelve great-great-nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Francis Wampler.
Services 1:00 p.m. Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Pastor Gary Burchett officiating. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
Visitation will begin after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel, where the family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
Pallbearers: Roger Ptomey, Tim Nelson, Eric Burkeen, Travis Beck-Nelson, Francis Wampler and Michael Bohart.
