Donald R. Ellis, 74, of Clarksdale passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri.
Don was born February 16, 1936 in Cosby, Missouri to Raymond and Thelma (Brining) Ellis. He was a Supply Sergeant with the United States Army 26 years, retiring in 1996. Don served in Korea, Vietnam, and the Persian Gulf.
He was a member of Clarksdale United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois Wigger.
Survivors include daughter, Brenda Metallo and husband John, three grandchildren Chris, Carl and Carolyn; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be this Thursday at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
