She is survived by Peter (Miachelle) Elo of Lawrenceville, Ga; Ted Elo of St. Joseph, Mo; Jenifer Louise (Patrick) Hindery of St. Joseph, Mo; Gerald “Butch” (Carmen) Elo, of Orlando, Fl; Glorianna (Allan) Black of Indianrown, Fl; and Richard Elo (Amy, fiancé) of Orlando, Fl; Her sisters Carol Walsh of Omaha, Ne; Rosemary Kelly of St. Joseph, MO, and her sister-in-law, Eva Elo of Raytown. OurMother was blessed with nine grandchildren; Heather, Amanda, Melissa, Tylor, Jelena, Austin, Ana, Andrew, and Marlin. Grandma (Janet Elo) was double blessed with two great grandsons, Daniel and Quintin.

Janet was born to Rosa and Oscar Hausman on July 22, 1935. Mom attended St. Patrick’s grade school for eight years, then the Convent of the Sacred Heart, graduating in 1953. After graduation she continued her schooling at Platte’s Junior College then was hired in the office at Westab. In addition to Westab Mom was employed by WT Grant & Company, St. Vincent DePaul, Peachtree Door, and Russell Stover Candy Company.

Our Mom, Janet Elo, married Pete Elo, the love of her life, June 1, 1957. The fun began when we, the seven children, started coming into their lives. While raising seven children Janet was active in our lives and shared her talents with others. She was an active participant in the PTA for twenty-five years; loved being room mother on and off during these twenty-five years and she was a block parent for most of the time. With all of that going on she found time to be on the St. Pat’s School Board, coach basketball, go to our basketball, baseball and football games, be a Den Mother for Cub Scouts for a lot of years working right beside our Dad.

Our Mother was a seventy-six year member at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she was active in the choir, the Parish Council, was kitchen manager at the Fiesta for many long years. The Rosary…..Mom held a deep devotion to Our Lady, Mary the Mother of Christ. Angels….Mom was fascinated with angels for the past twenty-two years. Our Mom loved to knit, crochet, sew, cook and bake, play cards, joke around with people, win at bingo, sing, and her favorite; Pray the Rosary.

May our Mom rest in peace. The Elo Children
