Dena Rae Evans, 66, St. Joseph, MO, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Dena was born on July 30, 1943, in New Point, MO to Dale and Blanche (Cochran) Bender.
She was a graduate of New Point High School, and worked as an Administrative Assistant.
Dena was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rita Claire McDonald.
Survivors include two daughters, Dee Ann Evans-Conner (Eric), and Donna Evans-Cox (James), all of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Katelyn and Bryson Conner, Jamie and Jackie Cox; one brother, Viron K. Bender, Oregon, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment New Point Cemetery, New Point, MO.
Visitation will begin after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel, where the family will receive friends 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
