Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel is located at 3609 Frederick Blvd. in St. Joseph, Missouri. Our central location provides convenient access to the community, as well as to local churches and cemeteries.

Our facilities include six spacious visitation rooms large enough to accommodate numerous guests and visitors. Easels and tables are provided for use to display photos and memorabilia to commemorate the life of loved ones.

The formal chapel provides seating for up to 250 guests. Our chapel is equipped with a large screen television to display a Video Memorial Tribute, so that special moments and a celebration of life can be shared by everyone in the space. A music room is also available, which consists of an organ for musicians use or a music system to play recorded music during the service. Our Chapel also includes a private family room with couches and chairs and an attached indoor loading facility.

A Reception Room is available for holding luncheons after the service. Chairs and tables are provided for an intimate gathering of up to 50 guests.

In an effort to minimize as much stress to the families we serve, our state of the art Batesville Selection Room has been the most recent addition to our facility. Our selection room provides a wide selection of funeral and cremation merchandise in a serene, user friendly environment.
