Your family moved a few houses from mine. Pam & I became great friends & we have now have found each other again after 41 years. I remember Ray as a loving father & husband. I always liked him. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts & prayers are with all of you. He now returns to God's loving arms & suffers no more. Uncle Ray will truly be missed. I have really enjoyed our visits via e-mail these last few years. I have also enjoyed our luncheons at The Steak House, Cracker Barrel and more recently Chedders with Aunt Shirley, Aunt Marie, Rita, and Mom. There is one thing I know for sure about Uncle Ray....he loved his wife and children. That is such an admirable quality these days. I am sorry he and Shirley did not get to celebrate their 60th anniversary together, but what an achievement. He was also a true patriot who loved his country. He was very helpful in filling in missing information on my family. His mother, Anna was my grandfather's first wife. Ray was always willing to answer my many questions. He sent me pictures of his mom and family. I was sad to hear of his death. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
