Floyd “Pete” Hankins, Sr., 59, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, July 5, 2010 at a local hospital.

Floyd was born August 28, 1950 to Richard Franklin and Helen (Rippeto) Hankins in Cabot, Arkansas. He served his country in
the United States Marine Corps. and had been a self-employed general contractor for 30 years.

Floyd married Linda Jacobs on March 8, 1969 in St. Joseph, she survives of the home.

Preceding Floyd in death were his father; his “pappy” and “nanna”, Floyd and Helen Hall; one brother, David Cox.

Additional survivors include mother, Helen Woods; daughter, Wendy Coffelt and her husband, Troy of Ravenwood, Missouri; son, Floyd
“Pete” Lee Hankins, Jr and his wife, Kenna of Mansfield, Texas; daughter, Misty Kaiser and her husband, Chuck of St. Joseph; eight
grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Richard Hankins; and numerous other family.

Memorial services 10 a.m., Thursday Calvary Baptist Church, 731 North 22nd Street, St. Joseph, Missouri. Mr. Hankins has
been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no visitation at our Chapel,
however a register book will be available to sign.
