Michael O’Sullivan Hare, 70, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away from this life on Thursday, July 1, 2010 playing golf, the game he loved.
Michael was born to William and Frances (O’Sullivan) Hare in Kansas City, Kansas, who preceded him in death. In 1956 he graduated from De La Salle High School. He retired from Southwestern Bell.
Michael married Mary Ann Carey June 10, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri, she survives of the home. He was a member Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Fairview Golf Course.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth (Chad) Buckles, Kathleen (Phillip) Grint; three grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Kiernan; one great-grandson, Christopher Ryan, Jr.; two brothers, William and Patrick Hare; three sisters, Jane Markwell, Linda Ahrens and Kathleen Hare.
Mass of Christian Burial 10 am, Tuesday Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Visitation will begin after 9am, Monday at our Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening. Rosary at 7 pm. Graveside Service 2 pm, Tuesday Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Joseph Catholic School Alliance.
