Union Star, MO –Terry D. Hillyard, 55, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Andrew County.

Terry was born on February 22, 1954, in Marshall, Missouri, to Ernest and Iva “Nadine” (Harrah) Hillyard. He was a graduate of Central High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local #101.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian Hillyard and great-niece, Jaeden Badalamente.

Terry will be sadly missed by his children, Joy Gerber, Jennifer Hillyard (Levi), John Hillyard; grandchildren, Katelinn and Michael Gerber and Brendin Pendelton; former wife, Pamela Hillyard; brothers, Ronnie (Eileen) Hillyard, William (Teresa) Hillyard, James (Lisa) Hillyard, sister, Candice (Marty) McGuire,brother, Greg (Shannon) Hillyard; sixteen nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial Service 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Union Star United Methodist Church, Union Star, MO. Visitation will begin after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the Church 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Mr. Hillyard will be removed from our Chapel Thursday morning to arrive at the Church one hour prior to the service. Inurnment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to Missouri Department of Conservation or in care of the family.
