Kenny C. Howard, 65, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Kenny was born on September 23, 1944, in St. Joseph, MO. He worked as a dispatcher for Yellow Freight and later was a Postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring on June 1, 2007, after 24 years of service. He was a member of NAPUS and NAPS.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Fullen Howard.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Howard of the home; children Kelly Narowski (Paul) Richmond, VA, Brett Giannattasio, Jacksonville, FL, Wendy Cordia (Dennis), St. Louis, MO, Ric Howard (Tara), Kansas City, MO; mother, Katie (Ryse) Piatkowski (Casey), North Port, FL; Brother, Doug Howard (Judy), St. Joseph, MO; and two grandchildren.
Mr. Howard has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no visitation. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
