Savannah, MO-Jimmie Eugene Lamme, 73, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at his home, with his family by his side.

Jimmie was born in Trenton, Missouri, on August 13, 1936. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, then later owned and operated Lamme Farm Service for over fifty-five years. He was a forty-year member of Carpenters Union Local #61 and Crandell United Methodist Church, Trenton, MO.

Jimmie enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms, collecting antiques and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nadine (Rosenstangle) Shirley and Harry Eugene Lamme; daughter, Stacie Lamme and sister, Judy Nibarger.

Jimmie married the former Carol Mumpower on May 29, 1958, in St. Joseph, MO. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his children, Jimmie Eugene Lamme, Jr. and wife Mary Ann, Rea, MO, Debra Jane Wells and Tammie Gerber & husband Scott all of Savannah, MO; grandchildren: Kyle Wells, Kortni Wells, Jordan Gerber, Taryn Lamme and Dayton Lamme; great-grandchildren, Kole Wells and Karli Wells; and one brother, Jerry Shirley, Trenton, MO.

Mr. Lamme has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no visitation or services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Kendallwood Hospice.
