Adeline “Addie” (Hanway) Miller, 87, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at a Savannah, Missouri, health care center.

Addie was born on July 6, 1922, in Willow Brook, Missouri, to Anthony and Florence (Vesper) Hanway. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Addie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gerri and Kate; and husband, Cliff A. Miller on February 11, 1999.

Survivors include her children, Cynthia (Richard) Zebelean, Michael (Rosie) Miller, Brenda (Ed) Rasco all of St. Joseph, MO and James (Julie) Miller, Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Sara, Rebecca, Kevin, Rusty, Denise, Brooke, Melissa and Samuel.; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, William and Robert Hanway; one sister, Alice Hanway; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 12:00 noon Thursday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where the family will receive friends 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Rosary 7:00 p.m.Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to St. Patrick Catholic Church; Hands of Hope Hospice or American Cancer Society.
