Mertis K. Moore, 85, Savannah, Missouri passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at Living Community of St. Joseph.
Mertis was born September 22, 1924 in Savannah, and graduated from Savannah High School.
On August 22, 1943, she married Wade W. Moore who preceded her in death on
March 20, 2002. Also preceding her were her parents, W.O. and Evelyn (Cole)
Swenson; her twin sister, Mildred S. Clardy; and another sister, Mariella Manville.
Survivors include daughter, Debbi Moore, Savannah; sons, Ron Moore, Springfield,
Missouri, Virgil Moore and wife, Susan, Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Helen Crawford
and husband, Jim, Savannah; one granddaughter, Brandi Williams and husband, Ronny;
three great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Cooper, Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services 11a.m., Friday Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. Thursday at our chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening. Interment Savannah Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Three Rivers Hospice or American Lung Association.
