Connie Sue Mothershead, 61, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at her home.
Connie was born on October 1, 1950 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Shannon and Barbara (Gohr) Evans.
She was a 1968 graduate of Central High School and a 1972 graduate of Missouri Western State College. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and was a teacher for 33 years retiring from the St. Joseph School District in 2005.
Connie was preceded in death by her father.
She married John F. Mothershead on December 23, 1994 in Platte City, Missouri. He survives of the home. Additional survivors include her mother, Barbara Evans; brother, Bob Evans and his wife, Linda, all of St. Joseph; three nephews, Chad, Trent, and Chris Evans.
Services 11 am Monday First Lutheran Church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American cancer Society.
