Juanita R. Sharp, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday, July 06, 2010 at her home.
Juanita was born November 14, 1928 to George S. and Opal F. (Cavey) Sherman in St. Joseph. She was a member of Patee Park Baptist Church and also enjoyed attending Grace Evangelical Church. Juanita worked at Leon’s Nursing Home and St. Joseph State Hospital.
Juanita was preceded in death by sons, James Smith, Milton Sharp, Jr.; parents; six brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include son, Steve Sherman of the home, daughters, Karen Robinett, Sheila Sharp, Jennifer Kendel, Frances (Ronnie) Moss, Lisa (Ed) Kendall, all of St. Joseph; son, Patrick W. Sharp of Kansas City; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Sherman, of McCallister, Oklahoma; Sister, Thelma Dutton, of St. Joseph.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Graveside inurnment 11 a.m., Saturday Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Sharp has been cremated.
The family suggests memorial contributions to A. L. S. Foundation.
