Ann Studer died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at her home in St. Joseph, Missouri. Ann was born on May 3, 1940 to Vance and Mary (Nelson) Bartlett in Bethany, Missouri. She was an executive secretary for the former St. Joseph Light and Power Company, from where she retired after 23 years of service.
Mrs. Studer was preceded in death by her father; her sister, Barbara (Bartlett) Scott; and a brother-in-law, Charles Studer.
Ann married Joseph “Jody” Studer March 29, 1974. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her mother; two daughters, Tamala Kidwell of the home, Lisa (Kidwell) Rock; a son, David Kidwell and wife, Cheryl; three grandchildren, Damon and Neva Kidwell and William “Billy” Rock, all of St. Joseph; brother-in-law, Louis Studer and wife, Janice; sisters-in-law, Barbara Spainhower, Beverly Gardner and husband, Paul; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where a guest book is available.
A graveside service will be for family and friends at 2:00 pm Friday at Mount Mora Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Mount Mora Cemetery Association for grass maintenance or Hands of Hope Hospice.
