Jean Ellen (Farrington) Teresinski, 83, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 following a brief illness. Jean was born in Aurora, Illinois on May 21, 1928 to Ella and George Farrington, but resided in St. Joseph most of her life.
She attended Benton High School graduating in 1946. She was the Office Manager for Missouri B&H Live Stock Commission Company for 47 years retiring on April 22, 1994.
Jean was a 60 year member of the King Hill Baptist Church. She belonged to the Dune Dollies of Moila Temple and was a member of Pika Club. She was an active member of the Benton High School reunion committee for many years.
Jean was married to her beloved husband Robert Edward Teresinski. They shared a wonderful life together for 54 years. He preceded her in death in 2002. She is also preceded by her parents and one sister, Annabelle Cowart.
She is survived by a daughter, Terrie Martin, and her husband Jon of St. Joseph; grandsons, Kyle Martin and his wife Joy of Lindenhurst, Illinois, and Korey Martin, Los Angeles, California; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Adelyn, and Carter Martin, all of Lindenhurst, Illinois.
Jean was a much loved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. We will all miss her presence but will carry her memory in our hearts for our lifetime.
Services 11:00 AM Friday, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 12:00 PM, Thursday at our chapel.
Where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday evening.
