Agency, MO- Doyle Ussary, 90, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Doyle was born on October 25, 1919, in Wallace, Missouri, to Obe F. and Bertha B. (Brown) Ussary. He was a graduate of Faucett High School and member of Agency Christian Church.
Doyle served in the Army as a tank driver in the Third Armored Division, during World War II. He farmed all of his life. He enjoyed horseshoes and bowling, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd J. Ussary.
He married Pauline Staggs on December 31, 1942. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his son, Brian Ussary and wife Channon, Agency, MO; daughter, Cheryl Collier, St. Joseph, MO and five grandchildren, Lindsay, Megan, Blair, Nathan and Kristen.
Services 12:00 p.m. Monday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment Agency Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the Chapel, where the family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Agency Christian Church.
