Deloris Mae Wells

Deloris Mae Wells, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3, 2010, at her home.

Mrs. Wells was born in Harrison County, MO, on February 22, 1938, to Loren and Mary Landes. She graduated from South Harrison High School in Bethany, and on April 20, 1957, she married William “Bill” Wells.

Mrs. Wells worked at DeVoy-Baker Insurance for many years. Mrs. Wells enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. She was a Christian.

Survivors include husband, Bill; daughters and sons-in-law, Jodie and Terry Meschke of St. Joseph, MO and Anita and Stan Lagemann of Flower Mound, TX; son, Gary Wells of Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Sarah and Aaron Meschke, Collin and Megan Lagemann and Jacob and Jordan Wells; brother and sister-in-law, Nolan and Nadine Landes; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Dick Stanley and Pat and Carl Folgate.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 6 at 12:00 noon at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Charles Beyer officiating. Interment 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Morris Chapel Cemetery in Bethany, MO. Joe Hendren officiating.

Visitation after 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Chapel, where the family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday. The family suggests memorial contributions to Heartland Hands of Hope Hospice.

Pallbearers: Aaron Meschke, Collin Lagemann, Jacob Wells, Jordan Wells, Terry Meschke and Stan Lagemann.
